Springtime, Please

There was amazing fog this one morning in March

The setting sun really illuminated these fresh white blossoms

I found this fungus growing on an ancient fossil rock face while hiking in central Texas

Here's a shot of some spring blossoms right outside of the Meadows Building

A lovely day in my back yard

A dust storm spring afternoon

Clouds gathering at dusk before a spring storm

Austin Poem #1

Tonight: Feel the jive
Feel the pulse
Feel the human force!

The music there
was: sexy, vibrant, funky-
raucous, loud, full-

Bathed in warm reds,
blue splashes,
silhouette heads clap and sway.
We stand and groove,
Yell! Who cares?

Red-night-basement-throbbing-
pulse-beat-up,on,your,feet-
stomping-cheering-dancing-
want,some,more-kind-of-Music-
Give it to me! In
dripping pints, steaming mugfulls, heaped earfulls:

Sheets of music
Falling like a living waterfall-
over me!
Fall, soak, you throbbing music force!
